Q: Can I telephone my doctor at any time?
A: Reception will be happy to take a message and ask the doctor to return your call. If the call is regarding and urgent medical situation, your call will be put through to the doctor concerned.
Q: How do I pay for the services?
A: Subject to change, the Centre is currently a bulk billing clinic to Medicare Card and Veteran Affairs Card holders.
Non card holders will be charged the Medical Schedule fee, please enquire at reception.
The Practice charges a small gap fee on top of the medicare fees,
our e-billing system with medicare ensures that your medicare rebate will be in your bank the following day. There is a gap fee for procedures & hypnotherapy.
Q: Can I arrange to have a home visit?
A:Home visits are kept to a minimum due to the enhanced access to medical services facilitated by the opening hours, however home visits may be made with prior consultation and doctors discretion.
Q: Can I get my results over the telephone?
A: For legal and medical reasons, results will not be given out over the phone. Please make a follow up appointment to receive and review test results.
Q: How are my health records kept?
A: Your details, medical records and consultations within this practice are kept strictly confidential, only accessed by authorized staff and will not be released without your written consent. Only de-identified data may be used for research purposes. During the Accreditation process, medical records are randomly selected by a GP for quality assurance purposes. If you do not wish your personal record to be access, please inform your doctor
